Three different photos do three different jobs, and mixing them up is the most common mistake:
- Your cover photo is your space. It appears on your card in search — it should say what kind of place this is
- Your portfolio is your work. This is what convinces somebody you can do the thing they want
- Service photos sit next to individual services and help somebody choose between them
A headshot in the cover slot makes your card look like a profile instead of a business, which is why we do not fill it in for you from your provider photo.
Shot on a phone, in daylight, against a plain wall, beats a professional photo of the wrong subject.
