Tracking income for tax, and what this app can export

Friday Scheduling holds your appointments, your services and the prices attached to them, and you can export that. It is a good record of what you did and what was owed, and it is the fastest way to reconstruct a year you did not keep on top of.

It is not your accounts. We are not in the payment flow, so we cannot know what was actually collected, what was paid in cash, what was refunded, what came through a gift card sold last year, or what your costs were. Anything you sold outside the app is invisible to us entirely.

So use the export as one input and keep the money side where the money is — your bank, your card provider, your bookkeeping. The habits that make this painless are dull and effective: a separate account for the business, receipts kept as you go, and a monthly hour rather than an annual weekend.

Set money aside for tax as it arrives rather than finding it later. A fixed percentage of every payment, moved the same week, is the version of this that survives a busy month.

None of this is tax advice, and rules differ by country and by state. An accountant who works with self-employed people in your trade costs less than the first mistake and usually finds their fee in deductions you did not know about.

If not, contact support. A question this help centre could not answer is usually a missing article rather than a difficult question, and it gets written.
