What is the small charge I do not recognise on my statement?

A charge from a studio rarely appears on a statement under the name on their booking page. It appears under their registered business name, or their payment provider's, or the name of the salon suite they rent a chair in. Three different names for one appointment is normal and is not a sign that anything has gone wrong.

Start by matching the amount and the date to an appointment in your account. Your appointment history is the fastest way to identify a charge, because it holds the studio, the service and the day in one place.

If nothing matches, message the studio on that booking's thread and ask what the charge was for. They took the payment, so they are the only party who can see it, explain it or reverse it — Friday Scheduling is not in the payment flow and cannot look up a transaction on a studio's account.

If you cannot match the charge to any studio you have ever booked with, treat it as you would any unknown charge and contact your bank or card issuer. That is a fraud question, not a booking question.

Did this answer it?

If not, contact support. A question this help centre could not answer is usually a missing article rather than a difficult question, and it gets written.
