Every studio on Friday Scheduling is an independent business. They set their own prices, their own hours, their own services and their own policies on deposits, cancellations and refunds. Nobody here is our employee, and we do not take a share of what they charge you.
What we provide is the software they run their booking on, and the place you find them. Professionals pay us a subscription for that. Your payment for an appointment goes to the studio, not through us.
The consequences are worth being clear about, because they run through every other article here. Standards, results and conduct at the appointment are the studio's responsibility. Money is between you and them. What we can act on is their presence on this platform — the listing, the standing, and in serious cases whether they remain here at all.
It also explains why answers differ from studio to studio. There is no single cancellation policy, no standard deposit and no fixed price list, because there is no chain — there are several thousand small businesses, each making its own decisions.
